In our country, many girls are married at a very young age, forcing them to give up their education even though their desire to learn remains.
Through our Second Chance Learning project, we support women who once had to leave school. Today, they manage households, care for their families, and work small jobs — yet their dream of learning still lives on.
When they discovered our evening classes, hope returned.
After a long day of work and responsibilities, these women come to our centre and spend two to three hours learning. Some had never been to school before, but today they are proudly learning to read and write the English alphabet, numbers, and simple words.
Once their dreams were interrupted, but now they know it is never too late to learn and every woman deserves a second chance.
